Follow Your Dreams!!! As a 14yr old school boy I dreamed of becoming an actor. The only person that really understood and supported that dream was my mum. She totally believed I could do anything I set my mind to, no matter what. Mum died last year but she wouldn't have been surprised that our agencies now help literally hundreds of people follow their dreams every single year. I'm flying down to sit and talk with people who want to get into the fashion, film and television industry.
And the reason I'm leaving my gorgeous wife and beautiful baby boy behind in Auckland is that I believe the people who want to talk with me may actually be right - they may have a chance of doing something amazing in this industry.
You see, if I didn't believe that, I certainly wouldn't be spending any time away from my family talking with people from all over New Zealand.
My Mum, who died last November, always believed in everyday people and their ability to achieve extraordinary things... She believed in me so much she thought I could do anything I set my mind to.. And, I'm slowly starting to believe the same thing - that anyone can achieve extraordinary things.
So, as I travel throughout New Zealand, I'm looking forward to meeting someone with that same belief system.

I feel it is again time to outline a few fundamental guidelines for potential and established clients.
The Talent Scouts Team shall continue to do it's absolute best to help all our clients get placed into the best Model and Talent Agencies through-out New Zealand.
It is extremely important that each and every person fully understands that we can not gaurentee success in any area of this industry including actually getting work, under any circumstances - and that each individual must completely understand this BEFORE they sign with us.
All these points are clearly stated in our standard contractual agreement - that every one of our new clients sign.
We can not ever guarentee you fame and fortune in any way and we never will.  We believe it would be morally and ethically wrong for any company to do this in our industry.
Thanks very much to all our fantastic past and present clients who have been so great to work with over the last seven years - we love you guys, YOU are WHY we work so hard.  We will continue to place top talent into top agencies and work hard for every single person we represent - hang in there,  we will never give up on you!!!

Follow your dreams, take a chance, have a crack, live life to the full, decide to just do it, take the initiative, believe in yourself, be honest, don't give up, be the best you can be, hold on to your dreams, push the limits, start saying yes, trust yourself, be brave, create your own success, don't take no for an answer, be a leader, never give up, sing like you can, help other people succeed, dance like no one is watching, keep your word, believe in people, push the boundaries, work like you own the company, stop thinking you can't do it, retrain yourself, create your own luck, get knowledge, love people, be open, change your mind, shoot for the stars, grow more, be the bigger person, develop new ideas, see the bright side, be content, work harder, stay hungry, be patient, develop, take care of your mum, take on the world, never give up, don't ever give up and never ever give up.

My mum inspired me to try things in life that I thought were completely impossible. She believed in me so much that she thought I could do anything I put my mind to, even when everyone else told me I couldn't.

As a dyslexic kid, I never scored highly on tests at school but she was the one who could see so much more in me.  And now, I'm absolutely certain, If we all believed in ourselves as much as our Mums do - we would achieve incredible things.

My mum, Yvonne Brookes, passed away last night.  I held her hand and for the last time, I thanked her for believing in me so much.
